If you’re reading this, then you’ve found the Rutland Community Blog. This is a “community blog” which means that more Rutland residents are wanted — and needed — to make this a successful community blog. You can contact me - Debbie Banish - or Carolyn Christensen to sign up to blog. Let’s make this a real community blog!

I see I am site visitor #44. I blog for mckenzie.communityblogs.us and I would recommend you also pursue readers with as much vigor as bloggers. We don’t count our readers, and I think you are right to do so. You get positive reinforcement immediately. But ultimately, in order to do community the good of weaving it closer together, you need the readers to read, become hooked on reading, and then become insistent and confident enough to comment!!!!! You are on the right track so keep the steam up, engineers!! Dale

Thanks for the comments. I just added the site visitor counter late yesterday, April 29. Flyers and “business cards” have been posted and distributed to promote the site. The site count is an attempt to see what type of traffic and readers we are getting.
